As you all know, we will be saying “I Do” on the beautiful island of Kaua’i. You can find more information about hotels and housing in the “Accommodations” section. You will be flying into the Lihue Airport. There are direct flights available as well as flights that make connections in Honolulu, HI. We suggest renting a car during your stay on the island. Kaua’i isn’t very large, but they do not have sophisticated public transit. Without a car, it is difficult to explore all Kaua’i has to offer.
On our stay in July 2016, we had the opportunity to go zip lining at Princeville Ranch Adventures, took a helicopter tour of the entire island through Sunshine Helicopters, took a tubing tour through an old sugar cane plantation irrigation system at Kauai Backcountry Adventures, snorkeled and swam in the warm Pacific Ocean waters, took a kayak tour up the Wailua River and hiked to the secret falls, swam under a waterfall, and visited many local farmer’s markets. Kaua’i has so much to offer, whether you prefer lounging at the beach, taking guided tours, or exploring the island on your own. There really is something for everyone.
Below we have included some links which will give you more information about the island.
